April flowers lead to snow showers?

That’s not how the rhyme goes I know,  but that is what mother nature has given us today.  A few inches of snow, amongst the many other things that have challenged our foraging experience this spring, have come between us and harvesting what will be our meal this Friday (aka EARTH DAY!).

This snow is supposed to melt before the day is over so, hopefully when we forage tomorrow, our harvest will not have been affected by the unexpectedly, chilly weather. I guess it isn’t that unexpected.  After all, this IS Michigan.
